JCPenney Responds
I just got a response from JCPenney in reference to my hate e-mail I sent them last night. Here it is:

JCPenney’s recent advertising. Very specifically, we attempt to avoid
themes that would be considered offensive to JCPenney Customers. We
sincerely regret that our ad has offended you. It was not our intent.
The JCPenney Company has a record of high standards in our approach to
advertising and does its best to present our merchandise in a tasteful
and appropriate manner.
Thank you for your continued patronage. Again, we appreciate your
comments and feedback. You are a valued customer.
We hope you will visit a JCPenney store, catalog, or website, soon to
see that ‘Every Day Matters’.

So, thanks for your feedback and a big “whatever” from JCPenney. Looks like I got the big blow off. Oh well, it’s not like I’ll be needing a suit that makes me look like I’m going to a pancake feed anytime soon, so I have no need to shop there.
